What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

The Broker — What It Is

TabTrade went live in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

That last detail is relevant. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.

Platforms

They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after comparing.

FIX API is there for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be in the works. That should be a good addition when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

This is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.

Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform your assessment.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard deposit match. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you deposit.
